In this piece, I wanted to explore the movement of color guided by gravity and fluid dynamics. I allowed rich ochres, fiery rusts, and deep terracottas to bleed and streak down the board, mimicking the natural staining of rainwater on stone or weathered metal. By layering subtle splatters and cool-toned undertones beneath the heavy vertical drips, I aimed to capture a sense of organic growth and fluid energy frozen in time.
